American racehorse trainer dies after being kicked in the head

  • An American racehorse trainer has died after being kicked in the head by a horse.

    John Wilson, 88, was struck in the head while he was getting his horse Forbidden Dreams ready for a race on Saturday (27 September).

    The two-year-old gelding reared up and struck Mr Wilson before the start of the race at Presque Isle Downs racetrack in Pennsylvania.

    He was taken to Hamot Meidcal Centre where he was pronounced dead.
