    How to get there

    What the organisers say

2015 will see a number of changes to the layout as we are constructing a solar farm. The event site will generally be more compact with the dressage and showjumping within easy reach of the secretary, tradestands and parking areas.

We plan to have the facility for all boxes and trailers to park on hard standing if needed. We have ample stabling on site.

This year the cross-country course will include a new stretch behind the wooded area. The track continues to be mainly level and flowing over Shropshire pasture. There are a variety of fences including water and banks, but the courses are designed to be accessible to inexperienced horses as well as the more seasoned.

The course-designer is Ken Davies and this year Harry Williams is the course-builder.

    What the riders say

Dressage & showjumping — “Dressage arenas are on the flat and there is plenty of warm-up space.” “Showjumping is held in an arena on a slope and was very deep.” “Courses could do with some more fillers.”

Cross-country — “In general OK, and improved from previous years.” “A nice course for young horses.”

Percentage of cross-country clears 2014 (some sections cancelled)

    BE100: 64%
    BE80(T): 66%
