Professional skincare brand Monu has signed up as title sponsor of the Oliver Townend Eventers Challenge Championship (OTECC) worth £70,000.
Every entrant in the series of 12 shows in October and November will receive a free gift — either the 50ml Essential Elements worth £26.80 or 50ml Skin Salvage worth £19.25.
Laurent van Bekkum, managing director of Monu says: “We were looking for a marketing vehicle that offered us a predominantly female audience.
“We also wanted an audience that was active and sporty and therefore reflected the Monu brand. OTECC fitted the bill perfectly."
He said riders have “enormous appeal” to the brand as “one minute they are knee deep in mud and the next in an evening gown attending some party”.
Simon Parker, of OTECC said: “The complimentary Monu products will have a higher RRP that the actual entry to the shows, which is extremely generous of Monu and hugely advantageous for the competitors.
“We are cock-a-hoop about working with the company.”
