A new half mesh/half cotton sheet to help cool horses down slowly has been launched by Swish Equestrian.
The top part of the rug is cotton while the lower part is made of mesh to encourage air to flow through the rug and cool the horse.
“When horses are washed off after competing, you want help them to cool down, but not too quickly as this can cause problems,” said Vanessa Paver, founder of Swish Equestrian.
“The half mesh/half cotton sheet does this very effectively. We have found this rug is great for after competition, but it’s also ideal for travelling to help keep the horse cool during his time in the trailer or lorry.”
The sheet comes in navy or green in sizes 5’6” to 7’ costing £39.99 but can be bought now for £29.99 as part of an introductory offer.
