Ideal for the racecourse, a new series of Spectator binoculars, specifically designed for sport viewing, has been launched by Bushnells.

The binoculars incorporate a PermaFocus feature and extra wide field of view which means they focus automatically and never need adjusting.

“The Spectator binocular requires no re-focusing. It fixes on play so you don't miss a second of the action, making it ideal for this summer's racing,” a spokesman for Bushnells said.

They are able to flit between long distance and close-up viewing, ensuring you can catch the finish and also check up on any fallers in the distance.

A good investment for winter, these are perfect for point-to-pointing. A rubber shell that is durable, lightweight and easy-grip, makes them easy to carry and pass around over the picnic.

Equally useful for hunt followers, the lens adapts to low light or the sun’s glare, producing a sharp and focussed image.

The binoculars come in four sizes – compact, mid-size, full-size and dual power and range in price from £74.95 to £159.95.
