An innovative yet simple product to increase safety and reduce rug repair bills has been introduced by FMBs Therapy Systems.
Safe-Gum is a rubber rug clip attachment that can be fixed onto chest, surcingle and fillet or leg strap rug clips.
The rubber attachment is designed to break if a horse gets tangled up when rolling or caught on something in the stable or field, avoiding damage to rug straps and clips.
Safe-Gum is supplied in packs of eight, including shapes to suit T-bar fasteners and hook or spring clip closures.
FMBs say there is nothing similar to their product on the equine market.
Safe-Gum will be distributed in the UK and Ireland through equestrian retailers and rug manufacturers. RRP £9.50 including VAT.
For more details on stocking or buying Safe-Gum, call FMBs Therapy Systems on 01628 472440 or 07885 539312 or visit www.safe-gum.co.uk.
