Oaksey House

IJF-button-border-finalOaksey House is one of two state of the art rehabilitation centres run by the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF).

Oaksey House opened in Lambourn, Berks in 2009. The IJF also has £3.1m Jack Berry House, which opened in Malton, Yorks during 2015.
Both centres have live-in accommodation for recovering jockeys, plus gyms fitted out with modern equipment. Oaksey House has an anti-gravity machine, while the Jack Berry House has a hydrotherapy pool.

The IJF is Horse & Hound‘s charity of the year for 2016. Throughout the year H&H will be raising awareness of the IJF’s work with riders across the disciplines, as well as fund raising for the charity.
