Matthew Boddy in winning form at Ingliston EC


  • Matthew Boddy took the honours from final draw to head the PCA easibed Futura Stakes with Rachael Evison’s Rady Third Black at Ingliston Equestrian Centre (14-16 December).

    Laura Newman ensured her qualification with Running On Red when she delivered the first treble clear round in the class. But Matthew Boddy took a full 2sec off her time to claim the £1,000 winner’s purse.

    Five made it through to the final round, but Scott Brash was forced to withdraw Intertoy Z when he pulled a shoe in the collecting ring. Holly Haig lowered the first and last rail with Parisienne, while Scott Brash picked up four faults on Sebastian III around the 1.45m track to take third.
