Robert Whitaker continued to fly the family flag at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) when riding Lacroix to win Friday nights hoys.co.uk Cup.
The Yorkshireman had it all to do from final draw after Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten set a tremendous target on Audis Naomi, but he produced one of those rounds where everything goes right to capture the £4,500 prize by more than 3sec.
Lacroix is definitely my number one horse. On his day, theres nothing he cant jump, said Robert.
