Show jumping enthusiasts who wish to put something back into the sport are being asked to help out at as stewards at the BSJA Festival of Show Jumping at Arena UK from 11 – 16 September.

As a ring steward, you will work under the supervision ofthe course-builder, involving preparation of the show jumping arena and putting up of jumps. Collecting ring stewards will be working under the head steward, whose responsibility it will be to call competitors into the arena.

Jackie Lanni from Arena UK says: “Patience is one of the main criteria that we look for in a steward as well as reliability”.

Stewards will receive travelling expenses, meals and free entry to the evening entertainment, which includes a live band and a saloon evening.
