Big money on offer at the Scope Festival

  • Almost £86,000 in prize-money is on offer at this year’s Scope Festival at Stafford showground from 28 August-2 September.

The show culminates in the £15,000 Shephard Family 1.35m Grand Prix, while female riders will go head to head in the £9,000 ladies’ championship, which is also sponsored by the Shephards.

A popular innovation is a grand prix for riders aged over 45 who are outside the top 100 on the BSJA rankings.

Adding an international flavour will be American Horse Shows Association judge Sarah Cook, who will assess the four-year-olds with Richard Davison and Johnny Harris.
