  • Pony showing enthusiasts can gain expert advice from top professionals at NPS Area 4’s showing workshop

    Showing enthusiasts can learn from top pony producers at the NPS Area 4’s showing workshop on Saturday, 20 October at Stanley Grange Stud, Great Ayton, Middlesbrough.

    Speakers include Horse & Hound magazine’s columnist Stuart Hollings, who will talk about “trimming and plaiting the riding pony” and “riding individual shows”, and Jerome Harforth, who will talk about “trimming the native pony” and “turnout of the show animal”.

    Ron Thomas will be discussing “conformation” as well as “breaking and schooling”, while Joanne MacInnes looks at “in-hand showing” and “M&Ms”.

    The event begins at 10am and will be followed by an “any questions” session. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children under 14.
