A new £500,000 equestrian centre has opened in north-east Scotland at Inverurie.
The Cabin Equestrian Centre, previously a riding school, opened an 80x40m outdoor arena on 12 May.
A new 67x30m indoor arena will open on 18 July with a two-day British Show Jumping Association (BSJA) show. The indoor arena will have a viewing gallery and a café.
Owner Fiona Quennell said the riding school will stay open.
“We have a fabulous setting here and really want to put The Cabin on the map,” she said.
“There’s nothing like this in the north of Scotland for competing.”
The outdoor arena opened with a two-day Andrew Hamilton show jumping clinic with over 90 riders taking part.
The Cabin will host BSJA and unaffiliated shows, working hunter training shows, clinics, riding club and Pony Club events.
