Showing at HOYSThe Horse of the Year Show is the autumn highlight of the showing season. Few things can beat riding down the centre line in the spotlight after winning a championship sash at HOYS.

Whether you are interested in horses, ponies, natives or coloureds, there are showing classes for horses of all types, shapes and sizes to enjoy. The show is currently underway and all showing fans will be awaiting the HOYS 2014 results with baited breath.

The most prestious showing titles at HOYS are the Cuddy supreme in-hand title, plus the supreme ridden horse and the supreme ridden pony, but the show also hosts the extremely popular SEIB Search for a Star classes for amateur showing riders, the quality of which improves every year.

And don’t miss a new class introduced this year for part-bred Welsh and Arabs. With riders of any age, this class gives those who are out of pony classes an opportunity to continue to enjoy their part-bred equine partners in the showring at the highest level. Qualifiers have been hotly contested so it will be intriguing to see who takes that red rosette.
