  • The Point-to-Point Board (PTPB) is seeking nominations for an independent member to join them. A term of office is for three years, and members may serve a maximum of two terms.

Interested applicants are invited to apply in writing to The Chairman, c/o The Point-to-Point Authority Ltd, 11 Trull Farm Buildings, Trull Farm, Tetbury. Gloucestershire, GL8 8SQ.

They will need to be proposed and seconded by anyone involved in the participation and running of the sport, who will be required to supply their name and contact details, with a brief description of their involvement.

The candidate will need to enclose a brief CV, details of their involvement in point-to-pointing and a statement of not more than 100 words about what relevant knowledge, experience and expertise they would bring to the board and ultimately the newly created Point-to-Point Authority (PPA).

Applications must be submitted by 31 July, from which a short list will be made in September. Candidates will be interviewed by a sub-committee of the board and selected by the end of October so as to be ready to take up the role on 1 January 2009.
