Cheltenham to host Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding Seminar

  • Some of the biggest names in racing and thoroughbred breeding will converge on Cheltenham Racecourse in November for the eighth annual Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding Seminar.

    Top veterinary names will showcase the latest research and cutting-edge technology in the racing world, including Professor Derek Knottenbelt, specialist in equine oncology, who will provide an overview of how the equine immune system works and what happens when it goes wrong and Nick Wingfield Digby of Beaufort Cottage Stables who will discuss immunity in young foals.

    Presentations on best practice in wound treatment, genetics, racing welfare and nutrition are also on the agenda.
