Susan George makes equestrian photography debut

  • Actress and Arabian horse enthusiast Susan George is to make her West End debut as a fine art equestrian photographer later this week at Petley’s Fine Art in Cork Street, Mayfair, W1 (27 September – 5 October).

Susan is a successful Arabian horse breeder and owns Georgian Arabian Stud Farm in Exmoor, where she lives with her actor husband Simon MacCorkindale. She has featured in Horse & Hound’s regular Talk Yourself Horse page (12 July, ’07).

Susan is the honorary president of the Horse of the Year Show and has developed her own line of homeopathic horse treatments called “Susan George Naturally”.

Susan said: “I am over the moon that Petley Fine Art has chosen to exhibit my work. ‘The Spirit of Equus’ shows the vibrancy, colour, power and serenity captured for just a moment in time — the magic [of horses] as seen through my eyes.”
