Have you ever drooled over your farrier while he’s been working on a hot summer’s day? Following the success of last year’s inaugural contest to find Britain’s sexiest farrier, H & H is accepting nominations again with finalists to be published in the Shoeing Special (23 September)

The 2003 winner, polo-playing Hampshire farrier Chris Keable, beat several hundred rivals to take the title. “One of the scrummiest around” said one admirer.

To enter, send a photo of your farrier, explaining why you think he (or she) should win to Kerry Bowness, Horse& Hound, Room 2018, King’s Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London SE1 9LS, or e-mail kerry_bowness@ipcmedia.com. The deadline is the 24 August.

  • Please credit the photographer, and if you are sending an image by e-mail, it must be a JPEG of 300 dpi.
  • Entries from last year may be nominated again, but with a new photo.
