HRH The Princess Royal has been re-elected as president of the British Olympic Committee (BOA) at the recent National Olympic Committee (NOC) meeting.
Also re-elected at meeting were chairman, Craig Reedie CBE and vice-chairman Albert Woods.
Five-time Gold medal winner, Steve Redgrave CBE was elected Vice-President of the BOA, the highest honour the BOA can award.
Members of the NOC also co-opted three medal winning athletes onto the committee in a continuation of its resolution to include athletes in its decision-making processes.
The athletes were modern pentathlete, Kate Allenby; triple jumper, Jonathan Edwards; and oarsman, Matthew Pinsent.
