Are you a talented and experienced news hound with a nose for a great story? Do you know your horse’s forelock from his fetlock? Are you as proficient with a CMS as you are with in-Design?
An exciting opportunity to lead Horse & Hound’s award-winning news desk has become available and we are looking for a talented individual to take our industry-leading news service to the next stage in its ongoing development.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior news journalist with at least three years experience in a similar role who can work accurately at a fast pace, juggling multiple stories for both print and online while managing a small team of permanent and freelance staff.
Excellent equestrian knowledge is a pre-requisite and existing contacts throughout the equestrian industry would be a bonus. An interest in video presenting would also be beneficial, but not essential.
This full-time role will be based in our brand new Farnborough offices in Hampshire, with some home working available if desired.
