New home for top sire


  • Demonstrator, Elizabeth Walkinshaw’s black Hanoverian stallion has moved from Broadstone Stud to stand at Tullis Matson’s Stallion AI Services for the 2003 season.He was recently announced as the leading sire of dressage horses in Britain for the third year in succession.

    Formerly ridden to grand prix levelby Ferdi Eilberg, Demonstrator has sired proven competition horses in all disciplines.

    Notable progeny include the current HOYS riding horse of the year and RIHS supreme champion, Broadstone Dee, advanced dressage horses Broadstone Dancelot, Broadstone Desdemona and Broadstone Director, the grade A show jumper, Dauntless Prince, and the three-day event horse, Broadstone Debit, who was short-listed for the Belgian Olympic team.

    Quinten joins the BSJA’s elite

    The BSJA has added several new stallions to its Elite and Silver listings.

    Quinten II, the son of Darco who carried Robert Whitaker to so much success in 2002 now becomes an Elite stallion, while the following grade A performers have been added to the Silver list:
