Kent vet Nick Mills dies unexpectedly


  • Nick Mills, a highly respected equine vet, died unexpectedly on 8 November aged 54.

    Mr Mills was the senior partner at Cinque Ports Veterinary Associates in Hawkhurst, Kent.

    He practised mainly in Kent and Sussex, but travelled widely to provide specialist help and advice, especially regarding equine insurance matters.

    H&H vet Karen Coumbe said: “He was a sensible and always enthusiastic vet and his untimely death is a shock to everyone.”
