Hurst Wood Comet is Hackney Champion


  • Hurstwood Comet was crowned Champion Hackney at Royal Windsor Horse Show yesterday. The 11-year old bay stallion who measures just 12.2hh, was also made Amateur Single Hackney Champion.

    Owned by L Pittaway and his driver R Carter, the pony made a stunning spectacle as he trotted round the Castle Arena at Royal Windsor yesterday afternoon.

    The judge selected Highmoor Little John, an 11-year-old bay stallion as Reserve Champion Hackney. Owned by his driver, Miss A Sparrowhawk, the 15.2hh driving horse was also Reserve Amateur Single Hackney champion.
