Side saddle enthusiasts will have their own class at the Avon Vale’s spring hunter trial next month.
The special class will run over the novice course at Abbottswood Farm, Bromham, Wilts, on Sunday, 14 April.
There will also be a special prize for the first side saddle team home in the fun team chase, which will be run over a similar course.
Joint-master Andrew Edwards said the class was inspired by two subscribers — Lisa Currant and Maria Badder — who both hunt side saddle, and the “general interest and uptake” in the discipline.
