Horse to equal record as Britain’s most-raced

  • Dvinsky, trained by Paul Howling, will equal the record for most raced racehorse when he runs in the in the 5.45pm race at Kempton Park today (Wednesday 12 September).

    The 11-year-old Dvinksy will equal a record of 217 runs, which is currently held by Sharp Hat who was retired in 2007.

    He faces 13 rivals in the Betdaq Dvinsky Record-Equalling 217th Run Handicap Stakes in his 76th appearance at Kempton Park. Tom McLaughlin will be riding the horse for the 26th time.

    He has won 19 races –  10 of them at Kempton.

    During his career which spans over 10 seasons he has been trained by eight different people, ridden by 44 different jockeys and earned £117,000 in prize money.
