Horse & Hound celebrates ‘vintage year’ with 2015 annual – on sale now

  • Horse & Hound is launching its first commemorative issue today (Thursday, 12 November) — a thick, glossy publication bringing together all our special reports from 2015’s top equestrian events.

The 2015 Equestrian Year is a beautiful 164-page “bookazine” that features top action from across the equestrian disciplines, including eventing, dressage, showjumping, showing and racing.

The year will be remembered as a heart-stopping and record-smashing 12 months, with new standards being set across the board.

The annual includes coverage from shows including Hickstead, the European Championships, Badminton, Horse of the Year Show, the Royal International, the Grand National, Royal Windsor and many more. In addition to this the commemorative issue also includes comments from high-profile riders such as Carl Hester, Graham Fletcher, Mark Todd and Harry Meade. Many of the wonderful photographs included have not been published before.

From the British team’s valiant silver medal at the eventing European Championships at Blair Castle, to the dressage Europeans with its myriad twists and turns — including Totilas’ retirement — the annual is a comprehensive snapshot of a tumultuous year.

The 2015 Equestrian Year will be on sale in WH Smith (both travel and high street), Easons, Martins Mcolls and a range of other independents for just £9.99. It can also be ordered from Amazon. A must have for any equestrian enthusiast.
