  • Sheikh Mohammed’s Godolphin racing operation has increased its global presence further by establishing a permanent base in Australia.

From 1 August, Godolphin’s royal blue silks will be worn by all runners prepared by Sheikh Mohammed’s Australian head trainer John O’Shea. The Sheikh’s racing in Australia has previously been run through his thoroughbred breeding operation, Darley.

His bloodstock advisor John Ferguson said: “Godolphin represents the crown jewels of Sheikh Mohammed’s horseracing operations and the establishment of a permanent presence in Australia is not only testament to his ongoing commitment to the racing industry but, also to the country at large.”
