Today is the last day for you to apply for London 2012 Olympic tickets.

H&H readers hoping to go to the Games must apply for tickets through the ballot by 11.59pm tonight (26 April). For details on how to apply, click here.

With the deadline looming, organisers say interest in the equestrian events is “high” — but won’t reveal exact numbers.

“We think it’s safer to wait until ticket applications have closed as the picture is changing on a daily basis,” said a spokesman for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).

She added: “People have heeded our warning not to rush and apply on the first day [tickets went on sale]. They’ve taken their time to work out what they want to go for.”

When asked if interest could be described as a “steady trickle”, she added: “It’s definitely much more than a trickle.”
