    • Bates Saddles has announced its sponsorship of British junior and young rider three-day-event team member, Sarah Stretton.Sarah, who completed her first Badminton this year with a double clear, was introduced to Bates Saddles by her equine sports physio Dr Gail Williams and has used them throughout her eventing career.

      She said: “I am extremely excited about the new sponsorship. It’s wonderful to be part of the Bates team.”

    • Fidelity Investment Managers has extended its sponsorship of the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (8-11 September) to include the London 2012 eventing qualifier for teams from Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia and Oceania.The competition will run as part of the CIC*** section at the event but it has meant upgrading facilities for officials, competitors and spectators.

      “This has only been possible with increased support from Fidelity,” said event director Mandy Hervieu.

    • Tack suppliers Pink Equine, who specialise in quality tack with a touch of bling, is to title sponsor the Stepping Stones Championships at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival of Showjumping at Stafford Arena (28 August-2 September).Managing director Denise Field said: “We knew straight away that it is a series we want to be aligned with.”

      Maria Clayton of British Showjumping added: “The series is proving extremely popular and with such a prestigious final we hope it will prove even more so.”
