Club together for charity

  • An unaffiliated riding club has donated £4,000 to charity following its most successful summer season yet.

The Caddington and District Riding Club donates the profits of its summer shows to worthy causes every year.

This year the money was split equally between “Hearing Dogs for the Deaf” and “Ian Rennie Hospice at Home” (which provides care and support for terminally ill patients and their families).

“It is good to feel that the riding club is helping worthwhile causes, as well as providing the local equestrian community with the events and competitions they want,” explained chairman Sandra Hill.

“I hope we will be able to donate even more money next year.”
