Polo comes to London this summer in a new bar inspired by the fast-paced horse sport.
To celebrate the start of the polo season, Archer Street in Soho has transformed its downstairs bar in to polo-themed lounge called Chukka.
Guests can sip on a polo-inspired cocktail such as “Treading Divots” and “Hooves on Fire” and they can even look the part as the bar has a special equestrian-themed fancy dress box.
Chukka opens to the public on Thursday (25 April) and will be open Thursday-Saturday evenings.
“Guests will walk straight into the pages of a Jilly Cooper novel as they enter the chic equestrian haven, coinciding with the start of the polo season,” said a spokesman for the bar.
“Quirky design features will include an astro-turfed bar, mallets and horse shoes decorating the walls.”
