Boost for British vaulting


  • Vaulter Ann Rogerson became the first British female to go through to the final round in an international championship when she finished in 13th place at the recent European Championships in Saumur, France.

    Her achievement was all the more impressive because it was her first time competing as an individual at a major event.Ann was also part of the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting squad that finished 10th in the team event.

    Scotland hosts the 2003 British Vaulting Championships on18-19 October at the Scottish Equi-Complex, Lanark Racecourse.
