BETA’s retailers and suppliers of the year announced

  • The 2012 British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA) Business Awards were presented at the association’s gala dinner on 19 February.

The awards are designed to recognise outstanding contributions to the trade.

The Trade Supplier of the Year award went to agricultural and equestrian wholesaler Trilanco.

Judges said of the Lancashire-based company: “They are easy to deal with. They have good stock levels, excellent customer service, and friendly staff with a can-do attitude.”

The Retailer of the Year Award was divided into four categories – large, medium, small and mail order/internet retailers.

Judging took suppliers’ votes into account, as well as visits by mystery shoppers.
