Addington Boy races for farmers


  • Grand National hopeful Addington Boy, who finished fifth and fourth in the past two Grand Nationals, has been jointly leased by sponsors Martell and Aintree Racecourse to help raise funds for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Intitution (RABI).

    The idea has been initiated as a way for the racing community to support farmers affected by the FMD crisis.

    The 13-year-old will be the prize in a competition where the winner , plus one guest will have the honour of a runner in the great race and of collecting 12 per cent of any prize money.
