    Dressage horses for sale

    Height: 16.2hh

    Gender: mare

    Age: eight

Selling points: “This is a beautiful home-bred horse with lots of personality. She loves to work, has good rhythm and fine movements. She is a medium level dressage horse who loves hacking and she’s safe in traffic. We have only tried small fences/cross rails a few times, but she enjoyed it. She has never been seriously ill or lame and is uncomplicated to travel with. She does windsuck, but not while wearing a strap.”

    Dressage horses for sale

    Height: 17.3hh

    Gender: gelding

    Age: 13

Selling points: “This horse would suit a tall, sensitive jockey, who wants to have a horse as a best friend as well as a competition horse. He is an ideal schoolmaster for prix st georges and inter I. He is a kind, forward-thinking, willing, sensitive horse who tries hard to please and enjoys his work. He is extremely versatile and also has a fabulous jump having competed in British Showjumping. He has been produced from an unbacked four-year-old to grand prix in the same home. He has competed at premier league shows and been placed. He had a score of 65% first time out at grand prix level. He loves hacking alone or in company and is good in traffic. He is a massive character and will be missed. No soundness issues.”

    5. ‘Stunning

    Dressage horses for sale

    Height: 16.1hh

    Gender: mare

    Age: seven

Selling points: “One not to miss! If you love to dance and are looking for a quality horse to win with, this is the horse for you. She has outstanding, world class breeding – she is out of Askoll Peter Pan, with lines on her dam side from the Zangersheide Stud. Suited to be a pure dressage horse, she is excelling in her flatwork with three lovely paces. She has all the ability and quality for a professional, but equally has the temperament and training for an amateur to compete and have fun with. Very competently educated and eager to please on the flat, she is very quick to learn. Having been produced slowly, backed as a late four-year-old, she has been given the time to mature and develop with longevity in mind. She oozes presence and is a joy to watch. She previously competed at BE90 as a five-year-old, producing a superb dressage score of 23.5 (76.5%) in only her second outing. She recently qualified for second rounds in prelim, novice and elementary with scores of 70%+, coming second, first and second respectively. She is ready to go out and affiliate BD. She would be a superb BYRDS horse. She isn’t a keen showjumper but will pop the odd 1.10m with scope, however, this is not something she particularly enjoys – she would sooner dance and will excel between the boards. The pandemic had prevented her competing last year, so she is low mileage for her age. She has an easy, trainable brain and a real willingness to please. She is lovely and polite to hack with company or alone and would make a super mother/daughter share. A fabulous little horse with beautiful conformation.”
