British eventing ponies take the lead at Europeans

The British pony eventing team is in pole position at the Bishop Burton Pony Europeans after the cross-country on 150.1pen, 36 ahead of Germany, who were in the lead at the beginning of the day. The Belgians lie third on 188.5.
All the British riders went clear, and five are in the top eight. In the lead individually is Marissa Braig with Andy on 44.5 for Germany, with Britain's Grace Webster and Noble Springbok on 46.9 in second, and Sarah O’Brien and Ice Cool Bailey for Ireland in third on 51.00.
Done and Dusted VI and Sophie Beaty lie 4th, Alfie Bradstock on Montezuma II is 5th, Sam Ecroyd on Catherstone Nutsafe is 7th, Sophie How on Hotshots is 8th and Harry Humfrey on Tantany Torch is 12th.
