The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has added a new download section to its official video website, FEI TV (www.feitv.org).
Developed with UK equestrian programme makers, MBPtv, this new service allows the equestrian community to download high quality video directly to their computers, and watch what they want, when they want.
It offers “pay as you go” access in four categories — competition highlights, documentaries and entertainment, training and content for young/grassroots riders.
The competition category boasts past highlights from top level of equestrian sport and users will find entire programmes covering the FEI’s events and series.
Top level riders such as Richard Davison, Andrew Hoy and Tim Stockdale share their expertise and carefully lead their audience step by step through their lessons, in the training section.
The documentary and entertainment features international programmes and behind the scenes documentaries such as Mary King at Badminton (eventing) and Dancing with Bonfire (dressage).
Among the videos available in the Young Rider/Grassroots category, is the Pony Club stable management series, which takes the younger audience through the basic responsibilities when dealing with a horse.
Content on www.feitv.org and its download section will be regularly updated. Prices start at just 75 Euro cents (60p) for six and a half minutes of action from the FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 — team jumping.
