Entries open for Equine Thesis Of The Year Award

Students are being invited to submit their applications for the Eqvalan Duo Equine Thesis Of The Year Award.
Run by the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), the competition is open to students from every agricultural or equine university or college in the UK.
The award aims to demonstrate the quality of equine student research and the high teaching standards of the institutions they attend.
A shortlist of students will be invited to present their thesis to a judging panel and audience of industry experts at Stoneleigh Park on 12 November 2010.
The winner then receives a £500 cheque, glassware, a certificate and a five-year membership to RASE.
Last year’s winner was Holly Claridge from the Royal Veterinary College, whose thesis was titled ‘The 3D anatomy of the cervical articular process joint in the horse’.
The competition is open to undergraduates only and one thesis per university or college may be put forward.
