Budding event riders could claim a free day ticket to go eventing if their horses are insured with KBIS British Equestrian Insurance.
The free day tickets are available for British Eventing’s (BE) “introductory” training classes — the BE80(T) — which aim to encourage inexperienced horses and riders into the sport.
During the classes, in which fences are 80cm, BE-accredited trainers are on hand in the collecting ring and during cross-country and show jumping course walks.
KBIS Equestrian Insurance is already a long-standing of British Eventing’s (BE) Junior Regional Novice eventing programme, but is backing the BE80(T) series for the first time in 2010.
Liz Prest of KBIS British Equestrian Insurance said: “The BE80(T) series is very innovative and looks set to go from strength to strength.
“We are delighted to be involved with a training series that helps to introduce new riders and horses to the sport with accredited trainers on hand to offer help and advice throughout the competition.”
All KBIS Equestrian Insurance policy holders are entitled to one free day ticket to enter a BE80(T) section.
