Farriers Finger Print became the first New Forest pony ever to be crowned champion in the NPS/Baileys Horse Feeds Mountain & Moorland Supreme Ridden Championship at Olympia Horse Show.

Runner-up was Sue Hughes’ six-year-old stallion Dartmoor Pumphill Buckthorn, ridden by Sarah Challinor.

Third of the 35 ponies that came forward to contest the final was David Bright’s Welsh section C Waxwing Rheel, ridden by Robert Bright.

Fourth and highest-placed junior was Alice Barr riding Debbie Barr’s section A Waitwith Westwind.
