The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dead foal was found dumped among rubbish in east London.
The skewbald colt was found over the weekend on the road between a Sainsbury’s supermarket and the Docklands Equestrian Centre, in Newham.
A post mortem is being carried out to determine the cause of his death.
RSPCA inspector Dawn Avery said: "We are appealing for anyone who knows anything about this dumped foal to come forward — we would like to know whom he belonged to."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the RSPCA in confidence on 0300 1234999.
