A horse and carriage has been issued with a Hackney cab licence for the first time in 200 years in Bridport, Dorset.
Kate Bromfield and her horse Winston were assessed by council officials to gain the licence from West Dorset District Council, reports BBC Dorset.
Ms Bromfield, will start her new business, Kate's Karriages, from the October half-term school holidays.
Her service will initially run from a car park in the town to the seafront and back again, although Ms Bromfield hopes to eventually apply for another route.
