Zara Phillips and Make Mine Music had a difference of opinion when it came to jumping into the water at Tattersalls International Horse Trials at the weekend. Zara's stylish dismount did not save her from getting wet, but neither horse nor rider suffered any injury.
Unfortunately the extremely successful event was marred by the loss of Alberto Giugni’s ride Catherston Defender, who broke a leg and had to be put down on the cross-country course.
For a full report on all the action from the Tattersalls World Cup qualifier, don't miss Thursday's Horse & Hound (4 June, '09).
