Free PR and photographic help is being offered to registered equine welfare organisations in the south west of England by an experienced team of journalists.
Well-known equine photographer Fiona Crawford and experienced journalist Kathryn Botting, who’s written for the Western Morning News and Equestrian Now, are offering their services free to enhance any equine welfare campaign.
Fiona said they’ve been inspired by the ‘Horses In Need’ campaign in the USA. She said they will select six charities or organisations, giving each one month’s work including pushing their respective campaigns.
She said: “we are inviting equine charities and organisations to get in touch with any ideas for an awareness campaign, utilising our skills to highlight adverse issues or situations regarding horse welfare and to help promote equine protection. This could include rescue centres, rehabilitation programmes, welfare organisations and welfare workers.”
At the end of May the pair will go through the submissions and select six.
Fiona said: “It’s too good an opportunity to miss. So get in touch and nominate a charity or tell a friend.”
