Photographer Tim Flach’s exhibition of horse images is coming to East Sussex this month.
The exhibition, called Equus, will open at the Independent Photographers Gallery in Battle on 7 February. The photos have previously been displayed in London and Brighton.
Comprising a wide range of equine photographic images, this exhibition is testament to photographer Tim Flach’s 7-year exploration of the equine species.
Tim studied photography and painted structures at St. Martins School of Art, and has spent the last 20 years in advertising photography.
More recently he has focused on his own personal work, culminating in the Equus project — a book an exhibition of horse photography.
Flach claims his photography “provides a unique insight into the physical dynamics and spirit of the horse”.
Equus will be exhibited from Saturday 7 – 28 February.
The gallery is open from 11am – 4pm, Wednesday – Saturday.
