More than 1000 people a day are showing their support for repeal of the hunting act by visiting the Countryside Alliance’s official repeal website.
The number is constantly rising but as of today (Tuesday 6 January) the site has recorded over 11,200 visitors signing up to support the repeal since the site launched in late December 2008.
Chloe Finch from the Countryside Alliance (CA) said: “The site proves that support for hunting is as strong as ever.
“People are willing to fight to get this ridiculous Act repealed – and the site provides a voice for those directly affected by this idiotic legislation.
“We are delighted it is is becoming a success and gaining phenomenal support from people who believe that the future of hunting is repeal”.
