The Pony Club is offering a lucky club member the chance to have their favourite horse or pony made into a Breyer model as part of its 80th anniversary celebrations.
To mark its anniversary in 2009, The Pony Club is looking for a “hero” horse or pony that has best helped its rider develop the club’s goals in riding and horse care. Members can enter by writing a 250-word piece about their hero.
The winner’s horse or pony will be sculpted and manufactured during 2008, ready to go on sale at the start of the anniversary year.
The model will become part of Breyer’s traditional range and a percentage of the proceeds will go to The Pony Club.
Full details of how to enter the competition are available on the Breyer website at www.breyerhorses.co.uk and The Pony Club website at www.pcuk.org
