Funeral of RDA hon life president

A founding member of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and former national instructor of the British Horse Society (BHS) has died, aged 83.
Brian Young, who held the BHS’s highest teaching certificate —the Fellowship of the BHS — died on 28 August at home in Ampney Crucis, Cirencester.
He was a chief examiner throughout the 60s and 70s for the BHS before becoming the managing director of Crabbet Park Equitation Centre, Crawley.
Mr Young was involved in the precursor to the RDA — the Advisory Council on Riding for the Disabled and was made honorary life vice president of the RDA in 1982.
His funeral is on Friday 7 September at 12 noon at the Church of the Holy Rood, Ampney Crucis.
