Sponsorship news in the UK horse industry


  • Jeremy Rudge Saddlery has agreed to sponsor Endurance GB rider Sally Farrall with a made-to-measure saddle — designed specifically with reduced weight for endurance riding.

    Jason Webb from Australian Horsemanship — which aims to find solutions to equine behavioural problems — will be sponsored by Aloeride, producers of an organic aloe vera feed supplement.

    Childéric Saddles UK has announced that it will be supporting Yorkshire-based dressage rider Becky Moody.

    TAGG Equestrian will be the official rug supplier to the British equestrian team until 2016. It will provide team members with rugs for the European and world championships, Nations Cups and the Olympics in Rio.

    Eventer Kitty King will be sponsored by rural supplier Mole Valley Farmers. “I am delighted that we are supporting Kitty,” said Cathy Wood at Mole Valley. “Rarely do you meet someone with her determination, focus and talent.”

    Feed manufacturers Spillers will be the official feed supplier at this year’s Horse of the Year Show (9-13 October).

    Bit specialist Neue Schule will be the main sponsor for the British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA) annual trade fair, BETA International, in 2014.

    Equestrian clothing manufacturer Equetech will be the official clothing supplier of Express Eventing. “Express Eventing continues to capture the imagination in terms of its uniqueness and modern approach to the sport of eventing,” said Jill Gratton-Fisher at Express Eventing. “So it followed that we wanted to work with someone who could offer a range of clothing that reflected this.”

    Paradressage rider Amanda Shirtcliffe has secured sponsorship from Bloomfields Horseboxes. “I am so privileged to be traveling to my competitions in style in my new automatic box,” said Amanda.

    Charlotte Dujardin will continue to be sponsored by Supreme Products, which makes a range of show and arena preparation products. “I have a fabulous team who prepare the horses to an amazing standard,” said Charlotte. “Coupled with this excellent range from Supreme Products, we glow when we enter the arena.”

    WOW Saddles will sponsor the supreme riding horse championship at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead on 2 August.

    Feed company Blue Chip will be sponsoring a number of championships over August and September, including the Ex-racehorse Series Championship (25 August and 15 September), the Veteran Horse Society dressage final (22 September) and the North West Showing Championships (7 September).
