Nominations now open for BETA business awards

  • The search is now on for next year’s British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) business award winners.

The awards recognise “excellence and outstanding contributions to the equestrian industry”.

And members of the trade are invited to nominate who they’d like to see rewarded.

Award categories are the UKTI export award, TSM rider award, SEIB retailer of the year, BETA lifetime achievement award, Equine Careers sales representative of the year, Harry Hall retail employee of the year, Blacks Solicitors trade supplier of the year, Joules Equestrian event of the year and the Haygain nutritional helpline of the year.

The awards will be presented at the BETA gala dinner on Sunday 16 February.

“The awards are a tremendous way for the industry to reward the achievements of individuals and companies,” said BETA’s Claire Williams. “Every category is hotly contested and the number of nominations received seems to grow year upon year.”

Nominations are invited from trade members, although members of the public can put names forward for the SEIB retailer of the year, Joules Equestrian event of the year and Haygain nutritional helpline of the year categories.

To nominate an individual or company, send the name and award category along with your name, address and reason for nominating to BETA, Stockeld Park, Wetherby, West Yorkshire LS22 4AW or email tinah@beta-int.com.

Ensure you send your nominations by 10 January 2014, bar the SEIB retailer award, where nominations close on 9 December.
